Editorial: Going Pink

For the month of October, the masthead on this newspaper will be pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Early detection is a key to being a survivor of the disease, the second leading cause of death among women, according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation – one of the raisons d’etre for the annual observance.
