A local leader was in the spotlight as the 68th Precinct Community Council continued its new tradition – honoring members of the community who go above and beyond.
At the group’s September meeting, held at the station house at 333 65th Street, the Civilian of the Month award went to Habib Joudeh, a local businessman and member of the Arab American Association and Community Board 10 who also works closely with the precinct.
“I am going to cherish this award,” Joudeh told the group, “and I am going to pass it to my kids so they will carry on in my footsteps.”
