A multiple dwelling fire that broke out on the fourth floor of a Bay Ridge apartment building has already been placed under control, according to a tweet sent out by the New York City Fire Department.
According to the FDNY, “all hands” were requested at 8501 Fort Hamilton Parkway at around 7 p.m. Thursday. A follow-up tweet confirmed that the blaze was quickly subdued.
Units are still on the scene.
