Campaign Finance Board disclosures for candidates for city office

Candidates for city office filed disclosures with the Campaign Finance Board  earlier this month. The filings of those who have declared for office from Brooklyn are listed below. Please note that some candidates may have suspended their campaigns but, if they have registered, are nonetheless required to make periodic filings with the board.

Filings determine whether candidates qualify for public funding in addition to the private funds they raise. According to the CFB’s website, “Candidates who join the program also agree to comply with strict expenditure limits, and in return they become eligible to receive public matching funds for their campaigns, based on contributions they raise from NYC residents.”

No candidates have yet received public funding for the upcoming election.
