Looks like GOP primary contender Bob Capano has a leg up over his other competitors, including Liam McCabe and John Quaglione.  Even if he should lose the GOP Primary, he still has a guaranteed ballot line for the General Election.

Curtis Sliwa, who is the chair of the New York State Reform Party, announced that his party has endorsed Capano as their candidate for the soon-to-be-vacated seat now occupied by City Councilmember Vinnie Gentile who cannot run again for it due to term limits. The Democrats running in the primary include Kevin Peter CarrollJustin BrannanNancy Tong and Rev. Khader ElYateem.
