Brooklyn’s 60th Precinct is getting some serious attention.
The precinct — which encompasses parts of Coney Island, Brighton Beach, Sea Gate and Gravesend — posted a minute-long rendition of the popular “Mannequin Challenge” on Twitter last week, sparking hundreds of favorites, retweets and new followers.
The viral trend, which is believed to have started in Florida sometime this October, encourages people to remain frozen in action (similar to mannequins) while a video is recorded.
The team is led by Captain Bill Taylor, formerly of Bensonhurst’s 62nd Precinct.
Seen our #manniquinchallenge yet? Special thanks to @JimBiancotweets for graciously allowing us to use his song! https://t.co/YWUoFvNp4w
