Reyes stops off in Brooklyn while on track to the majors

On his way back from the disabled list, All-Star shortstop JoseReyes made an appearance in Coney Island leading the BrooklynCyclones (16-14) on July 18.

Reyes went 1-3 with a double to left-center, and scored a run ina losing effort against the Lowell Spinners (13-17), butappreciated his time at MCU Park. It was fun meeting the guys andbeing able to play on the beach, said Reyes.

The speedy infielder rejoined the New York Mets the followingday.
