Trimboli gives talk on high rise safety

Whether you live in a high-rise apartment building like the Bay Ridge Towers or Shore Hill’s senior housing on Shore Road or work in one of the skyscrapers in Manhattan, Lou Trimboli — a senior real estate manager for the CBRE Group, a Fortune 500 firm, and a member of the BOMA NY Preparedness Committee, a high-rise buildings safety task force — gave an enhanced training session on evacuation procedures in the event of a fire, terrorist attack, gas explosion or earthquake to members of the Bay Ridge and Bensonhurst Community Emergency Response Team (CERT1NYC) at the Bay Ridge Manor. Trimboli is also a CERT crew chief, and president of the 62nd Precinct Community Council.

This particular CERT Team was the first one established in the city by then Councilmember Marty GoldenJanet General is the current president, and Anthony Formica

Michael Connors III recorded an interview with Kings County Conservative Party Chairperson Jerry Kassar

Young Mike, a graduate of Xavier High School, and an Eagle Scout, who is currently attending McGill University, in Montreal, Canada, did a splendid job discussing Kassar’s political career. Kassar, who pens the column Common Sense for this newspaper, is also the chief of staff to State Senator Marty Golden.

The next general meeting of the Norwegian-American 17th of May Parade Committee will take place on Wednesday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m., at the Danish Athletic Club, 735-41 65th Street. Arlene Bakke Rutuelo is the 2012 parade general chair. Also don’t forget the parade fund-raiser at the Salty Dog, 7509 Third Avenue, this coming Sunday, from 2 to 6 p.m.
