Hakeem Jeffries Continues Subway Office Hours

Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries is continuing a six-year-old tradition of summer Subway Office Hours, during which he visits different subway stations to chat with residents about their concerns for the community.

According to him, about half of all issues that his office investigates are triggered by someone on the street informing him about the problem.

Jeffries was recently at the Bergen Street station and is atthe Franklin Avenue and Fulton Street C-train station today, but here is his upcoming schedule:

  • August 8 – Clinton and Lafayette Avenues (G train)
  • August 14 – Classon and Lafayette Avenues (G train)
  • August 15 –  Hanson and Ft. Greene Places (2, 3, 4, 5, B, Q trains to Atlantic Ave. – Barclays Center)

Jeffries recently won the Democratic nomination to run for the Congressional seat in New York’s 8th District.
