First Snow in Brooklyn

Last week, water; this week, snow and ice.

A nor’easter brought the first snow of the season to Brooklyn and the tri-state area. Between eight to 10 inches of snow are expected in areas.

So far it’s not too icy, but conditions are still slushy and slippery, and already weakened trees from Sandy’s wrath last week make for even more downed trees and falling power lines.

Also, if you don’t already have snow brushes in your car, now is the time to break it out.
