Meet the 2013 Rising Stars

The Home Reporter and Brooklyn Spectator’s second annual Rising Stars awards and networking cocktail event will take place on Thursday, March 21 at Steiner Studios.

The event recognizes 40 civic, religious and community leaders under the age of 40.

Cat Greenleaf, host of “Talk Stoop,” will be this year’s “Star of Stars.” The Carroll Gardens resident has had her show on NBC for the past four years, on which she interviews popular musicians, actors and newsmakers in 15 to 20-minute segments.

“It’s a great opportunity to recognize young individuals making an impact in their fields,” said Joshua Schneps, co-publisher of this paper. “It’s also great to bring together people so that they can develop relationships and make new contacts with like-minded, hard-working people.”

The Rising Stars event will take place on Thursday, March 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Steiner Studios, 15 Washington Street, Brooklyn, NY.  Tickets cost $90 per person or $850 for a table of 10.
