iPad thief sought in and around Park Slope

Police have released this image of the suspect wanted for allegedly snatching an iPad out of a woman’s hands at the 7th Avenue subway station in Park Slope on Tuesday, March 19.

It was shortly after 9 p.m. when the theft occurred. A 24-year-old woman was sitting on an almost-departing Q train when the suspect grabbed her iPad and fled right before the train’s doors closed.

The suspect was spotted on video surveillance and is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, with short black hair, standing between 5’8″ to 5’10” tall, and weighing around 170 pounds.
