Saturday, March 2:

Visit the Central Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library at Grand Army Plaza as BLDG 92 staff, all part of their “Brooklyn Navy Yard Connections” project, conducts mini-interviews and offers assistance locating or documenting your loved one. Share your story and learn about upcoming exhibits and programs at the Yard.

Enjoy and be mesmerized by the world of Opera as Lisa Flanagan sings the title role in “Suor Angelica,” at Our Lady of Perpetual Help auditorium.

Join the Saint Charles Borromeo Church in the stunningly beautiful sanctuary for a narrated chronology of the German Heroic Tenor, as seen through the voice of Heldentenor, Marc Deaton, with Pianist Michael Fennelly.

Shake your way over to the Center for Dance Studies and enjoy a free Flamenco Dance Workshop!

Sunday, March 3:

Visit MoCada at noon  for eMERGING, a unique exhibition that features the works of visual artists and directors.

Bring your creative side over to Grumpy Bert for “The Universe in Color,”a solo exhibition with Astrophotographer Robert Gendler.

Enjoy the work of internationally renowned master storyteller, Charlotte Blake Alston, as she mesmerizes audiences with selections from her wide repertoire of stories and songs from African and African-American oral traditions.
