Mix and mingle with CPEX on May 16

Commercial real estate firm CPEX is expanding its presence in Downtown Brooklyn with a networking event at Fairfield Inn and Suites on Thursday, May 16.

Founded in 2008, CPEX provides a full range of services for both real estate and business owners in all five boroughs. They host quarterly events where property owners and people interested in Brooklyn real estate can network with one another.

“We have an interesting operating model [and] we work on product types where our teams focus on particular markets,” explained Greg Roberts, CPEX’s chief operating officer. “For example, this event will focus on our Development Team, Multi-Family Team, and Industrial Team.”

Roberts explained that each employee of the Downtown Brooklyn-based company – located on the 8^th Floor at 81 Willoughby Street – is part of a team focused on a “specific business line, product type and definitive specialization in each market we cover” and their services “include investment sales, leasing, acquisitions and advisory, as well as research.”

This is CPEX’s second quarterly networking event. The first event was held in Bay Ridge and “was a huge success” that CPEX hopes to expand on this time around, said Roberts.

Since the company launched, it has grown 150 percent year over year.
