Morning Report: Wednesday, April 10, 2013

Sunny and cloudy skies ahead, but with slightly lower temps than yesterday. A high of 72 degrees is anticipated this afternoon, with the rest of the day hitting the high 60s, until tonight, when there is a 90 percent chance of rain — and thunderstorms.

Weather.com describes it as “Thunderstorms this evening with a few showers possible overnight. Low 53F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph.”

Also making an appearance tonight will be a new moon.

  • The final bit of rock standing between Grand Central Terminal’s tunnels and the LIRR was blown up yesterday and is one of the last controlled explosions that will ever occur under Grand Central, said the MTA.
