Teen hit by Q train at Atlantic-Barclays station is still alive

A 19-year-old was hit by a Manhattan-bound Q train at around 5:50 a.m. early Wednesday morning, said police, who said that emergency responders found the boy on the tracks, where he may have also been electrocuted by the third rail.

The teen was rushed to Kings County Hospital with injuries that “did not appear to be life-threatening.”

It is unknown how the teen ended up on the tracks.

Subway Q service was temporarily delayed, but resumed around an hour later, in time for the tail end of morning rush hour.
