WATCH: Video of iPhone theft suspect at 9th Street/4th Avenue station

With iPhone theft rates on the rise, the NYPD has been trying different tactics to slow the rash of robberies. Today, they’ve released a video of one such suspect, wanted for snatching an iPhone from a seated female passenger on the F train at 9th Street and 4th Avenue at around 8:10 p.m. on April 28.

The suspect is described as a black female with long braided hair under a green baseball cap. She stands around 5’6″ to 5’8″ feet tall and was last seen wearing blue jeans, black sneakers, and a dark waist-length jacket.
