Armed robbery suspects sought after attack near Smith and Warren Streets

Two armed robbery suspects wanted for threatening and robbing a pedestrian at around 3 a.m. near Smith and Warren Streets in Cobble Hill on Friday, June 14, are still on the loose and police are asking for the public’s help in finding them.

The two suspects are said to be:

  • 43-year-old Marcia Richard, described as a black woman standing around 5’7″ tall and weighing around 145 pounds, and
  • 28-year-old Dorian Steeley, described as a black man standing 5’6″ tall and weighing around 185 pounds.

The couple allegedly followed a 34-year-old black man northbound on Smith Street, with Richard at one point asking for spare change. The victim complied and continued to walk, but Richard followed and continued to ask for more change.

At Warren Street, Steeley then approached the victim from behind and, armed with a gun, forced him to get down on his knees in front of a supermarket at 197 Smith Street. They went through his pockets, stealing his cell phone and cash before fleeing on foot.
