The rain stayed away all afternoon on Saturday, July 20, making the giant block party on Grand Street a sunny success.
There weren’t large crowds, but that suited the local kids and families just as well, friends and neighbors splashing, dancing, eating, shopping, and more at the Grand Street Business Improvement District’s Weekend Walk Block Party, which was the second weekend to feature live music and activities on a stretch of Grand Avenue that was closed to traffic especially for the occasion.
