Four people were injured in an accident involving an overturned ambulance on Thursday, August 15 at 5:43 p.m.
A Midwood Ambulance somehow collided with another car and flipped over on the corner of Third Avenue and 61st Street. Fire Department emergency service workers transported three people with minor injuries to Lutheran Medical Center.
Midwood Ambulance also transported a more seriously injured patient to another hospital.
It is not clear if there was already a patient in the crashed ambulance or if the vehicle was rushing to a scene.
A call to Midwood Ambulance was not immediately returned.
