Fake bike messenger allegedly robs unsuspecting businesses

An enterprising burglar is using the ubiquitousness of bicycles in Brooklyn to his advantage by posing as a bike messenger in order to gain access to at least one commercial building in Williamsburg, which he then burgled.

The man, seen here in surveillance images near 242 Wythe Avenue, is wanted by police for entering the building at 10:30 a.m., with his bike, and then proceeding to steal $1,121.83 in cash, plus credit and debit cards from a cash box.

The suspect is muscular, bald, and either dark-skinned or very tan. His bicycle is orange with a blue seat.
