Mix and mingle with CPEX and Bushwick businesses on September 12

As renters and buyers continue to flow eastward out of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, businesses and real estate owners in Bushwick are finding it necessary to network even more.

Cue commercial real estate firm CPEX, which will be hosting the third in its REX Night networking series at Brooklyn Fire Proof, at 119 Ingraham Street, on Thursday, September 12, from 6-8 p.m.

“We have an interesting operating model [and] we work on product types where our teams focus on particular markets,” explained Greg Roberts, CPEX’s chief operating officer.  Teams that will be highlighted at the Bushwick event will be the Mixed-Use, Multi-Family, and Retail Sales teams.

“The main goal of this event is for local businesses to get to know each other and network,” explained CPEX Marketing Associate Louisa Graham. “Bushwick is definitely an area that is up-and-coming and there’s a lot of opportunities out there with a lot of businesses expanding into that [East] Williamsburg/Bushwick area.”

The September 12 event is FREE and will have cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Its co-sponsors are the Graham Ave BID, Grand Street BID, Greenpoint Chamber of Commerce, and Home Reporter/Brooklyn Spectator.

Founded in 2008, CPEX provides a full range of services for both real estate and business owners in all five boroughs. They host quarterly events where property owners and people interested in Brooklyn real estate can network with one another. Since the company launched, it has grown 150 percent year over year.

The first two REX Nights were held in Bay Ridge and Downtown Brooklyn.
