NYPD seeks help IDing suspects in Brownsville iPhone theft

Police have released video of two men suspected of robbing a man in Brownsville during the early morning hours of Sunday, June 30, and are asking for the public’s help in ID’ing them.

It was around 5 a.m. when the 26-year-old Caucasian man was accosted near the intersection of Glenmore Avenue and Georgia Avenue by two men who promptly stole his iPhone and cash before fleeing on foot, westbound on Glenmore Avenue.

The suspects are described a black men in their 20s, both standing around 5’11” tall. One suspect was wearing a white polo shirt with a dark collar with the word “RUGBY” on the front, checkered shorts, white sneakers and a white baseball cap.

Suspect #2 was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue shorts, white sneakers and a blue baseball cap.
