Three women are wanted by police for allegedly robbing and assaulting a straphanger on a southbound F train at the Jay Street-Borough Hall station on Monday, July 29.
During 6 p.m. rush hour, the first suspect allegedly grabbed the cell phone from the victim’s hand while the other two suspects allegedly “physically prevented her from retrieving it,” said police. No injuries were reported.
Surveillance video caught images of the three suspects and anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
