Mayor Bill de Blasios effort to lower the citys speed limit from 30 miles per hour (mph) down to 25 mph has gained the approval of legislators in the New York State Assembly and Senate, who each passed bills allowing the measure, which de Blasio touts as an integral part of pedestrian safety in his Vision Zero initiative.
The bill must now be signed off on by Governor Andrew Cuomo.Leave a Reply
