Etiquette Boss: Title talk

INVITATION ETIQUETTE:

At times, it can be can be challenging addressing invitations, especially invitations to the very young. For example, how do you address an invitation to a toddler for your child’s birthday party?

An informal invitation, such as a birthday party invitation to a small child, should contain only his/her first and last names. The title of “Master” should only be used for formal correspondence, such as an invitation to a wedding, when inviting a boy up to the age of nine, and “Miss” for a girl younger than 18. After 18, she is addressed as Ms. regardless of her marital status.

Gone are the days when a man was addressed as Mr. regardless of his marital status, but a woman had her marital status announced, and perhaps invited stigmatization before meeting her. “Miss” indicated a single woman, “Mrs.” followed by her husband’s name, as one who was married, and “ Mrs.” followed by her maiden name as one who was divorced.

Another excellent hair strengthener that can be used by anyone who suffers from falling hair, is to combine the yolk of an egg, two tablespoons of mayonnaise and two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Apply a shower cap for a few hours or leave overnight and use a protective cover on your pillow.

In China, women use green tea mixed with rosemary water for strengthening hair and to produce added luster. Beautiful hair can also be protected by adding two tablespoons of jojoba oil to your bottle of shampoo.

It is recommended that you shampoo no more than every three days. If you must shampoo every day, use shampoo twice per week and co-wash, which means using a conditioner as your shampoo on the other days. The natural oils in your hair will thank you.
