Twelve-year-old Janiah Simpson has been missing since around 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, when she was last seen leaving Wingate Park – near New York Avenue and Winthrop Street, next to Kings County Hospital Center in East Flatbush. She lives only a few blocks away with her family.
Simpson is five feet, six inches tall, weighs around 150 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue sweatpants that stop below the knee, a blue T-shirt, and black and green Jordan sneakers.
Anyone with information about Simpson is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting to 274637(CRIMES) and then entering the code ‘TIP577.’
