The city’s new municipal IDs – set to debut next year – will have an added benefit: free and/or discounted membership to 33 cultural institutions ranging from Lincoln Center and the Bronx Zoo to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum and the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Municipal IDs will be available to all New Yorkers, documented or not, who are over the age of 14.
