MEOWS MEOWS: Hey Jude- “JOYA is here! I am a soft, sultry, very pretty brown tabby kitty. Patches, Tuscany and I, were 5-weeks-old, when Linda saved us from living on the dangerous streets in Bath Beach, Brooklyn. My sisters and I are purrever grateful that we each have awesome homes. All of our medical care has been top notch, and the doctors, especially, Dr. Alexandru of the Bay Ridge Animal Clinic, are gentle and caring. My 3 1/2 years on this planet have taught me about living with and loving humans. Sadly, my 85-year-old mommy is unwell and can no longer care for me. My lonely heart flutters now, hoping that someday soon, it will bond with a new love. Will it be you? Will my heart purrever beat with a new companion? My foster mom, a super fine, gentle lady, is unable to make a permanent commitment to be a part of my future life. Jude, let me tell you that I am a loveable, adorable, spayed, tested, and vaccinated honey, who needs a friend and home now. Please, I do not want to go to the city kill shelter – I WANT TO LIVE. I have way to much love and friendship to give to another fluttering heart. My name JOYA says a lot about who I am, what I can give to humans and the true meaning of my life. JOY. I NEED A HOME. I NEED A FRIEND … I NEED YOU! I’ll be your BFF. Please contact Linda and ask for JOYA the cute one! 718-946-5965

WOOF WOOF: “I am Nena, a 43.4 pound, 8-month-old, a super energetic beige and white Pit Bull Terrier Mix puppy. I can be left alone, content with my bone, with no accidents. I follow many commands. I love other animals; dogs, cats, and kids so much, that even when they are tired, I am ready to “rock and roll”. I can stay for 6 hours without an accident, I empty quickly outside. I need very strong and durable chew toys because I love to relax and enjoy myself with a hardy chew.”

In her current Foster Home Nena lives with two cats, a 6-year-old and a 16-year-old. She likes to play with the cats until they eventually decide to hide. Well, you know how kitty cats are. And she likes to hang out with her 16-year-old foster sibling. Alone, she is very well trained, a home with maybe one other older pet might be best.
