Cops and Assemblymember Colton seek missing male

Police and Assemblymember William Colton are asking for the community’s assistance in locating Xiao Bo (Ken) Zhu, a 24-year-old Asian-American male described as 5’11” and 110 pounds, within the confines of the 62nd Precinct.

According to cops, Zhu has been missing since Monday, April 20 at approximately 11:30 p.m., when he left his family’s home on 70th Street & 18th Avenue. Police also claim Zhu made suicidal statements before leaving the family home and left his wallet behind, which had a suicide letter inside.

“I am asking my neighbors in southwest Brooklyn to please help us find Mr. Ken Zhu. His family wants him to return home safely,” said Colton. “Anyone with any information, or anyone who has seen or sees Mr. Zhu, is asked to call the police and his family immediately. Let us find this young man and bring him home safe. Now is the time to help a family in desperate need.”

Zhu was last seen wearing a black jacket, jeans, grey shoes, and a black backpack. His family states claims that he often visits the Mapleton Library, 1702 60th Street, near 17th Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to immediately call the NYPD’s 62nd Precinct at (718) 236-2611 or the Zhu family at (646) 897-6583.
