Cops look to identify body of woman by tattoo

Cops are looking to identify a woman whose body was found, washed up near Shore Parkway and 26th Avenue on Sunday, March 22 in the confines of the 60th Precinct.

According to police, the unidentified woman – said to be between the ages of 25 to 45 with a tattoo on her right leg – was found unconscious and unresponsive just before 6:30 p.m.

Emergency medical services responded and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

A tattoo artist has rendered how the actual tattoo may have originally appeared, leading investigators to believe that the name written within it is “Monique.”
