A tip of the cap is in order for Fontbonne Head Coach Frank Marinello for getting to the semi-finals of this season’s playoffs and producing two All-City players that were responsible for his team’s success this season.
First, senior third baseman Arianna Dillon had a very impressive season, hitting .436 with four home runs and 26 RBIs, while junior pitcher/first baseman Bianca Marletta compiled a record of 11-4 with 110 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.78. Marletta also batted an impressive .397 with five home runs and 28 RBIs.
