Firefighters fight early morning Bay Ridge blaze

More than 50 firefighters responded to a Bay Ridge blaze that occurred around 2 a.m. on Friday, August 28.

According to the FDNY, 12 units and 60 firefighters responded to the fire, which began on the top floor of 92 Parrott Place – a three-story apartment building – within the confines of the 68th Precinct.

Units spent almost an hour getting the blaze under control. According to the FDNY, it was settled by 2:41 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
