Family and friends of Danielle Aronsen – a Sunset Park resident who was killed on Thursday, August 20 when she fell out of the backseat of a moving car in Bay Ridge – gathered on Saturday, September 5 at local watering hole No Quarter (8015 Fifth Avenue) to help raise money for her two-year-old son, Andrew.
The memorial benefit – complete with raffle prizes, drink specials, food and music – was held just two weeks after Aronsen’s friends launched an online fundraiser that, since its inception, has surpassed its $15,000 goal and raised more than $18,000 for Andrew.
Aronsen – remembered by loved ones as a good friend and an even better mother – was just 29 when she died.
