A man was pronounced dead after being struck by a southbound D train early Saturday morning.
According to police, the 28-year-old was seen on the tracks of the southbound train at around 4:34 a.m. at the 79th Street Station, within the confines of the 62nd Precinct.
He was pronounced D.O.A and put into an ambulance on the corner of New Utrecht Avenue and 79th Street.
