Parkville’s Jets and Giants draw

PYO Jets 12 vs PYO Giants 12

Parkville Youth Organization’s Peewee Division is continuing to show positive signs of improvement on the gridiron. Gabe Richardson of the Jets set the example early in the first quarter of a game between the Jets and the Giants by busting through the Giant line, bouncing off several tackles and charging to sacred ground, drawing first blood.

Richardson received outstanding blocking from Saad Sandu, Dennis Urena, Robert Navarro and Israel Gualpa. These guys are learning their skills and are applying them on every play. Jaylis Cruz seized the opportunity when it appeared and took a 20-yard trek to pay dirt. When the half ended, the teams were tied 6-all. Cruz depended on the muscle of Husnain Sandhu, Nico Viscoso, Raymond Reyes and Thomas Robert Fegan.

The second half was a repeat of the first with Richardson scoring for the Giants and Cruz for the Jets. Awesome performances were contributed by Elieser Santiago, Aiden Paredes, Jayden Steward, Edgar Quintero, Luca Giocoli, Ethan Veliz, Samuel Frank and Nathanel Gonzalis.
