Cops search for Burger King robber in Sunset Park

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in the robbery of a Sunset Park Burger King that took place in April.

According to police, at around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 8, the man – described as Hispanic, 5’10” tall and 160 pounds – entered the Burger King at 5212 Fifth Avenue and approached the counter with a handgun.1601-16_72Pct,_Comm.Robbery_6-6-16_final_video_First_Frame

The perp had the gun covered with a black skull cap and demanded $50 from the store manager before fleeing.
