The Brooklyn Bavarian Biergarten turned one on Saturday, July 16 and threw a birthday bash to celebrate with fellow beer and food loving Brooklynites.
Celebrating its year of success, the Biergarten provided a night of fun festivities with a live DJ, raffles and prizes, authentic Bavarian cuisine and an extensive collection of beer favorites that was served by both their inside and outside bars.
“We had a turnout of a couple of hundred people and it was an amazing time,” said Denise Sullivan, manager of Biergarten. “It was a beautiful evening, the DJ did a great job, and people were dancing all over the place.”
Popular for their German cuisine and draft beer, the Biergarten is also hot spot for their garden and waterfall.
“People come here because they love the fact that we have a real garden, and people are also really drawn to the waterfall,” said Sullivan. “It’s been a terrific year.”
The Bavarian Biergarten is located at 65 Prospect Avenue.
