The 2016 general election is fast approaching, with only 94 days left until Election Day, November 8.
If you have not yet registered to vote, you must do so by October 14 in order to vote this year. New York City residents possessing a valid ID from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles may register to vote online here. Otherwise, residents may register to vote in person at a Board of Elections office or by mailing away a downloadable voter registration application found here.
Voter Registration Forms can also be obtained from libraries, post offices, most New York City agencies and by calling 1-866-VOTE-NYC.
Already registered voters wishing to change their party affiliation may do so by obtaining a registration form, indicating a change and sending it to the Board of Elections.
