Police catch man trying to steal $300 worth of lotion from Bath Beach Rite Aid

A 52-year-old man attempted to steal over $300 worth of Aveeno lotion from an 86^th Street Rite Aid on Friday, September 16, according to cops.

When approached by store security at around 3:42 p.m., the man pulled out a knife and attempted to slash the employee before fleeing. Police positively identified the perp about 10 minutes later and caught him in possession of the knife, a glass pipe containing crack cocaine and marijuana.
