Two three-story buildings going up in Bensonhurst

Build me up Bensonhurst.

According to real estate website YIMBY, permits submitted by an anonymous Bayside-based LLC to build two attached three-story, three-unit residential buildings at 2054 85th Street have been approved.

Steps from the 20th Avenue D train stop in Bensonhurst, the 6,000-square-foot property was most recently occupied by two two-and-a-half-story houses until they were demolished in March of 2015, says YIMBY.

The buildings will measure 3,782 square feet each and will have full-floor residential units that will likely be about 1,239 square feet each. Six off-street parking spaces will also come with the property.

New Jersey-based architecture firm, Schneider Associates, will be behind the building’s design.
