Bay Ridge tops list for most one-bedrooms for $1,500/month

Looking for an affordable one-bedroom apartment? According to a new report released by Naked Apartments, Bay Ridge is the place to beat.

According to the site, which published an article last month titled, “The Five Best NYC Neighborhoods for One-Bedrooms Under $1,500/Month,” the waterfront nabe topped the list for New York City ‘hoods with the highest density of one-bedrooms under $1,500 a month.

The other four neighborhoods on the list are Brooklyn’s Flatbush/Ditmas Park and Crown Heights, Bronx’s Jerome Park and Manhattan’s Inwood.

According to Naked Apartment’s sister site, StreetEast, the median asking rent for a one-bedroom in the city is a whopping $2,700 a month, making anything under $1,500 a glorified steal.
