Cops say two friends got into a heated argument that culminated with one of them hitting the other in the face with a chair in Bensonhurst last week.
The victim, a 22-year-old man, told police that during the verbal dispute — which occurred on Thursday, October 13 near 72nd Street and 15th Avenue — his friend, 21, picked up a chair and threw it at his face.
The 22-year-old was taken to Maimonides Medical Center and treated for cuts to his face and lip.
It is unclear what caused the fight.
