Cops seek man responsible for Borough Park bank robbery

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, October 4 in Borough Park.

According to police, the perp – described by cops as a black man, approximately 25 years old, anywhere from 5’10” to 6’0″ tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and a chipped or missing front tooth – walked into the New York Community Bank located at 4419 13th Avenue at around 8:50 a.m. and passed a note to a bank teller demanding money.

The teller complied, according to police, and the individual fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man was last seen wearing a dark blue coat.
