A Bay Ridge teen was arrested by 68th Precinct officers on Friday for allegedly hitting three parked cars and fleeing the scene, cops say.
According to a police source, the 17-year-old was driving along Fifth Avenue – reportedly between 86th and 82nd Streets – and struck three cars in total before speeding home and telling his mother.
“He gets scared, he [goes] home and his mom calls the precinct,” the source said. “She said ‘my son was involved in an accident’ and officers responded to the house and placed him under arrest.”
Police have no word yet on whether or not the teen’s license will be suspended.
