Cops: Benson Avenue altercation leads to assault with shoe

A 27-year-old woman assaulted a 68-year-old woman with a shoe near 25^th and Benson Avenues over the weekend.

According to police, at around 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 26 the two women – who cops say are friends – began arguing over the 27-year-old’s “cleanliness.”

The 27-year-old proceeded to hit her friend in the head multiple times with the shoe and later kicked her in the left knee. The 68-year-old called police once she arrived at Maimonides Medical Center.
