An unidentified crook broke into a 39-year-old man’s storage unit near Third Avenue and 36th Street and stole over $6,000 of property — including 80 cowboy hats worth around $3,200, according to cops.
The 39-year-old discovered the loss on Monday, November 7 at around 6:15 p.m. The unit didn’t have a lock on it, cops say, and three leather jackets were also taken.
