It was a Sunday sight to see this past weekend as runners from all over the world turned out to get their sweat on in the The 2016 TCS New York City Marathon.

The 26.2-mile course, which runs through all five of the city’s boroughs, crowned four champions on November, 6 – although with over 50,000 runners crossing the finish line, the accomplishment is a proud one in New York City.

Mary Keitany of Kenya won her third consecutive title in the professional women’s race with a time of 2:24:26. USA’s Tatyana McFadden won her fourth consecutive and fifth overall New York City Marathon title in the women’s wheelchair division, finishing with a time of 1:47:43 while Eritrea’s Ghirmay Ghebreslassie (2:07:51) and Switzerland’s Marcel Hug (1:35:49) took the titles on the men’s side in the professional men’s and wheelchair races, respectively.
