Cops search for missing Gravesend senior

Have you seen Peggy Ponton?

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the 74-year-old Gravesend resident, last seen on Thursday, January 12.

According to police, Ponton was last spotted inside of her residence at the Kings Adult Care Center (2255 Cropsey Avenue) at around 7 p.m. on Thursday. She is described as approximately 5’4″ tall, weighing 125 pounds, with brown eyes and salt and pepper hair. She was last seen wearing a blue sweater, white sneakers and checkered black and gray pajamas.

Anyone with information in regards to her whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
