The R train will be skipping stops this weekend, as a result of the MTA’s ongoing Capital Rebuilding Program.
According to the MTA, Bay Ridge bound R trains will skip stops at Union Street, Fourth Avenue-Ninth Street, Prospect Avenue, 25th Street, 45th Street and 53rd Street.
For service to Union Street, Fourth Avenue-Ninth Street, Prospect Avenue and 25th Street, take the R train to 36th Street and transfer to a local Manhattan-bound R, N or D Train. For service from these stations, the R, N or D Train to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to a Bay Ridge bound R train.
For service to 45th and 53rd Streets, take the R Train to 59th Street and transfer to a Manhattan bound N local Train or R Train. For service from these stations, take the N Train or R Train to 36th Street to a Bay Ridge bound R Train.
